Strategy
Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.2
Iron Tide Command is a strategy game that asks you to think three moves ahead. You manage a small fleet across a fog-covered map, balancing fuel, cargo, and the constant temptation to overextend. Battles are resolved in a satisfying tactical layer where wind and formation decide more than firepower.
The campaign eases you in gently but gets brutal by the mid-game, where one bad supply decision can sink a whole run. We loved that failure teaches you something instead of just punishing you. Touch controls handle the map well, with pinch-zoom that never fought us.
It's a thinker, not a filler. If you like slow, deliberate strategy and don't mind losing a few campaigns to learn the ropes, this one rewards patience.
What we liked
- Supply management that actually matters
- Wind and formation drive naval battles
- Steep but fair difficulty curve
